About Me
From a young age, my family’s leadership and influence led me to follow Jesus. In my teenage years, with encouragement from church leaders and opportunities to serve, I started to feel a strong calling to serve the local church vocationally.
I have been married to my wife, June, since August 3, 2002. We have two children, Lydia and Will. My family is one of God’s greatest blessings in my life, and they have experienced the calling, joys, challenges, and faithfulness of ministry over the years.
Over the years, God has enabled me to serve in various ministry and leadership roles. In college, I spent two years as a semester missionary with the North American Mission Board, engaging with World Changers and mobilizing student volunteers. Additionally, I managed a LifeWay Christian Store for five years, where I gained important insights into leadership, stewardship, team building, and supporting churches with ministry resources.
My experience in local church ministries includes serving at First Baptist Church in Dale, Oklahoma; First Baptist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia; First Newark Baptist Church in Thomasville, Georgia; Canopy Roads Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Florida; and Stetson Baptist Church in DeLand, Florida.
Since 2017, I have been serving at Stetson Baptist Church, where I currently hold the position of Executive Pastor. My responsibilities encompass leadership in administration, governance, staff development, ministry strategy, and long-term planning. In this phase, I have had the honor of assisting in guiding growth, overseeing capital campaigns, developing facilities, and enhancing organizational capacity.
I hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctor of Ministry degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. My doctoral research concentrated on executive administration and strategic policy development for local churches. This foundation is the core of Faithful and Clear. I see church governance, policies, bylaws, and organizational clarity not just as administrative duties but as vital tools that can support pastoral care, build congregational trust, and advance faithful mission when managed effectively.
